Save the Shrine Impact Measurement

Project Goal: To design a rigorous method to quantify the organization’s programmatic impact and develop a communications strategy to articulate these metrics to financial and missional partners.

Project Deliverables:

  1. Create a donor relations workflow
  2. Develop a program evaluation dashboard focusing on impact metrics
  3. Design an outreach strategy based on a communications audit

Ladies of Virtue Data Collection Project

Project Goal: To identify and collect useful information about project participants, program outcomes, and non-profit context, which LOV can use to develop their curriculum, convey more compelling stories to funders and advance the organization’s goals and priorities.

Project Deliverables:

  1. Revised program intake form
  2. Relevant research about best practices in data collection tool, why specific metrics were chosen and tools that can be used for evaluating program outcomes
  3. Relevant data currently available about Chicago south and west sides to inform programming

CECD: Chatham Affordable Housing Analysis

Project Goal: This project attempts to improve the share of owner occupied units in Chatham among Black people. To do so, CECD wishes to identify Housing Units that are too expensive for private developers to rehabilitate, but are not too expensive to rehabilitate with public (Affordable Requirements Ordinance) funding from the city. Houses that have been identified as such will be rehabilitated and released into the market as affordable housing units.

Project Deliverables:

  1. Dataset of houses and housing characteristics
  2. An inventory of houses that fall within the aforementioned “sweet spot”
